That's Pants - Ideas Development

I am finding my group quite easy to work with, the process of generating ideas with more than one person has allowed us to produce a lot work in a short amount of time, we are moving closer to a successful idea much quicker than if we were to do this project individually. Contrasting opinions and viewpoints are helping us come up with a clearer outcomes however this can sometimes lead to confusion if we don't properly document our own thoughts for others to see, simply trying to remember what everyone has said doesn't work. Decision making is quite easy but when pitching ideas to each other it is sometimes hard  to make the more important decisions on which to take forward.

Possible film reel toilet roll for gif? Rolls down to reveal story of someone entering a public toilet and struggling with the many obstacles found in our research - would be almost like a comic strip sequence

We have also been thinking about personifying the poo and germs in toilets - getting in the way - could make costumes and create a character that is always in the way - blocking users in and highlighting poor hygiene - stuck to wall - in front of sink - highlights all of the hidden dirt - washing hands - we could wear the costume and go out into public toilets photographing different scenarios

One problem that we have encountered is the male/female divide in the group - how will we all be able to get into the same public toilets together? Would need to find suitable location and ask for permission

Possible costume construction using card and scrunched up newspaper - research into costumes needed

Research into existing costumes and how to create our own - place specific - looking at costumes used for other causes and protests

GIF thumbnailing

Potential scenarios drafted for a GIF

At the moment it looks as if we are heading down the costume route, we are hoping to start making it soon so we have as much time as possible to get it right and make a plan of action in how to use it
